American rock band “The Gaslight Anthem” formed in 2006 and, after five studio albums, two EPs and eighteen singles, entered an indefinite hiatus in 2015. Apart from a short tour in 2018 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2008 album “The ’59 Sound,” the band members pursued new projects and solo careers.
On March 25, 2022, the Gaslight Anthem confirmed their reunion and announced a world tour. In April this year they released a new single called “Positive Charge”. It was the band’s first new music in nine years and it will appear on their upcoming sixth studio album, “History Books,” which is due for release in October.
The second single and title track, “History Books,” features Bruce Springsteen and is new this week on RadiJohan.
