“Shinedown” are an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 2001. They have released seven studio albums to date, including their latest, PlanetZero. They are no strangers to success and hold the record of most number 1’s in the 40 year history of the “Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs Chart.”
Shinedown’s lead singer, Brent Smith, believes their latest single, A Symptom of Being Human, to be the most important song off the Planet Zero album.
“A Symptom Of Being Human is a deep breath in the face of an ever-changing world. Everyone’s story is different. As human beings, we are all unique, and that’s what makes us individuals. We will all experience highs, and lows in our lifetime. We will all be put to the test, and the challenges of everyday life. So embrace it, don’t run away from it. Live every moment to the fullest, and don’t worry… It’s all just a symptom of being human.”

“Last in Line” are a British rock band formed in 2012 by former members of the original lineup of “Dio” after the death of singer Ronnie James Dio in 2010. The band’s name comes from the 1984 Dio album The Last in Line. Guitarist Vivian Campbell, who also plays with Def Leppard, explained how Last in Line likes to record their music:
“With Last in Line, just as we did with Dio, we cut the basic tracks live. “It’s important for us to capture the energy of the syncopation of playing together in real time – much like the energy of a live show. This record represents the best of both worlds: the spirit of an energetic band performance, and the more reflective and nuanced qualities of our individual performances, too.”
Ghost Town is the first single released from Last in Line’s new album Jericho.Lead singer Andrew Freeman commented:
“The song for me describes breaking a cycle from different perspectives. On a personal level it could be family, career or life expectations, putting a person in an unwanted or unwelcome space. On a grander scale it addresses government expectations. Nonsensical, unethical ideas and laws that become the norm, while turning a blind eye to larger problems.”
